DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””] \nWe were delighted to host an event in collaboration with the University of Macau\, China: “Europe Day 2025 – Reflection on the Past Achievements of European Construction and Challenges Ahead.” The event took place on 9 May 2025. \nThe speaker for this occasion was former MEP Liliana Rodrigues. \nThe event was designed to engage postgraduate students with a strong interest in European affairs\, offering them a valuable opportunity to explore both the historical accomplishments and future prospects of European integration. Participants reflected on the key successes of the European project and examined the pressing challenges that lie ahead for Europe. \nThis on-line lecture\, conducted in English\, was a great success. DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]We were pleased to organise an online lecture as part of the FMA’s EP to Campus programme\, hosted by Lutsk National Technical University (Ukraine): “The European Parliament from the Inside: Following the Experience of an MEP.” The event took place on 9 May 2025. \nThe speaker for this lecture was former MEP Alain Lamassoure. \nThe session offered an in-depth exploration of the European Parliament\, providing valuable insights into its functions\, the responsibilities of a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) and the career path of an MEP. It also addressed current issues on the Ukrainian agenda\, offering a comprehensive perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing Europe today. \nConducted in English\, the event included a question-and-answer session\, allowing participants to engage directly with the speaker.
