DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]On Tuesday 20 May 2025\, from 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm\, the Association of Former MEPs will host its annual dinner and debate\, preceded by a welcome cocktail reception. \nThis distinguished event will take place at the Members’ Restaurant of the European Parliament in Brussels\, offering a unique opportunity for former MEPs to engage in meaningful discussions and reconnect in an elegant setting. \nEuropean Parliament Quaestor Fabienne Keller will deliver a welcome address at the start of the reception. The dinner will be opened by European Parliament Quaestor Marc Angel\, who will give a welcome speech. Following this\, Ms Arianna Podestà\, Spokesperson for the European Commission\, will deliver a speech entitled: “Europe’s Choice: from trade to defence\, the key decisions shaping our future in the current geopolitical landscape”\, followed by an exchange of views with FMA members. The event wase hosted in the elegant Members’ Restaurant of the European Parliament in Brussels. The dinner coincided with the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Association. \nThe evening began with a cocktail reception featuring a welcome message from Vice President Katarina Barley.
