She talked about Women’s Right and Gender Equality. \nThe first half of the conference\, that was open to a select public\, was a 50-60 minute discussion about cases of past projects\, legislation\, initiatives\, or crises in which the MEP found it particularly rewarding\, vexing\, or enlightening to have participated. \nThe second half\, 50-60 minutes\, was driven by student questions attempting to draw out aspects of the “everyday life” of an MEP that are the heart of this course\, informed lightly by how anthropologists and sociologists have attempted to understand the work of policy-makers such as central bankers or even legislators.
