The FMA publication ‘Present Future of Europe’\, a collection of proposals to stimulate debate on the ideas for today’s Europe\, was presented and discussed with EU policy-makers\, in the light of the final report on the outcome of the CoFoE. \nAnthony Teasdale\, Director General of the European Parliamentary Research Service (EPRS)\, opened the Roundtable followed by a presentation of the FMA publication by the then FMA President and former EP President Hans-Gert Pöttering. Monica Baldi\, FMA Vice-President; Dieter Schlenker\, Director of EU Historical Archives in Florence and Professor Steven Van Hecke\, advisor to the FMA Reflection Group on the CoFoE\, provided introductory remarks on the production of the FMA publication “Present Future of Europe”. Anthony Teasdale then moderated a roundtable discussion and Q&A featuring Hans-Gert Pöttering\, former EP President Klaus Hänsch (FMA President since 2 June 2022) and MEPs Marc Tarabella (S&D)\, Sandro Gozi (Renew)\, Gunnar Beck (ID)\, Michiel Hoogeveen (ERC) and Helmut Scholz (THE LEFT). \nTeresa Riera Madurell\, FMA Secretary concluded the event. \nThe full recording of the event can be viewed on the FMA Youtube channel. [/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_gallery interval=”3″ images=”21788\,21782\,21784\,21790\,21801\,21793\,21799\,21786″ img_size=”medium”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
