DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]From 2 to 4 June 2025\, FMA in collaboration with Mangalore University\, India\, organised a series of special lectures on EU-related topics. The person responsible of this lectures was FMA member Mr. Jordi Solé. \nMr. Solé delivered several conferences in different departments\, including Political Science\, Business Administration and Bio Sciences. Each lecture lasted over two hours and sparked engaging discussions on EU perspectives. We were delighted to offer this opportunity to students\, teachers\, and staff to familiarise themselves with key EU-related topics and to strengthen academic exchanges between the EU and India. The dinner will be opened by European Parliament Quaestor Marc Angel\, who will deliver a welcome speech. After\, Guest Speaker Ms. Arianna Podestà\, Spokesperson of the European Commission\, will give a speech titled: “Europe’s Choice: from trade to defence\, the key decisions shaping our future in the current geopolitical landscape” followed by an exchange of views with FMA members. Our special guest Ms. Maria João Rodrigues\, former MEP\, will also add a brief speech during this event. The audience will be a mix of former MEPs\, MEPs and guests. \nTo facilitate participation and ensure inclusiveness\, interpretation services in both English and French will be provided for those who require them.

The commemoration also included poetry readings by members of the FMA Management Committee and selected musical performances. DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to announce that the roundtable organised in collaboration with the Ukrainian Association of Professors and Researchers in European Integration (APREI) and Mariupol State University took place on 15 October 2024 at 14:00 local time in Ukraine (13:00 Brussels time). \nThis round table explored what it means to embrace European values in a modern\, interconnected world\, as well as how to effectively defend citizens’ rights within international public institutions. Participants discussed democratic principles\, representation and the role of the EU in shaping global governance. Through expert advice\, they learned strategies for defending the public interest and strengthening the voice of citizens on the international stage. \nThe event was moderated in English by Maartje J.A. van Putten\, former MEP and member of the FMA. \nWe would like to thank all the participants who contributed to the success of this important discussion!
