On 22 October 2020, for the first time the European Parliament Former Member Association (FMA) and Global Former Parliamentarians from across the world participated in a special virtual roundtable on “Responding to COVID-19 – A Global Discussion”.
- The Former Members Association of European Parliament was presented by Lord Richard Balfe,
- The USA Former Members of Congress was presented by President Charles Boustany,
- The Former Members of New Zealand Parliament was presented by Peter Dunne.
The moderator of this event was Rafael Bernal, a journalist based in Washington DC working for The Hill.
