The FMA continues to cooperate closely with associations of former parliamentarians outside the EU: the US Association of Former Members of Congress (FMC), the Canadian Association of Former Parliamentarians (CAFP), the Association of Former Members of the Parliament of Australia (AFMPA), and the Association of Former Members of the Parliament of New Zealand. This co-operation consists of participation in annual meetings, exchanges of information and logistic support for visits of former parliamentarians.
