2026 FMA Visit to Ireland

From 21 to 23 October 2026, the FMA organised a visit to Ireland on the occasion of Irish EU Council Presidency.

A delegation of European former parliamentarians, led by FMA Vice President Monica Baldi, is scheduled to undertake a three-day visit to Ireland. A meeting has been scheduled between the representatives of the Irish Government and Parliament, and former Members of the European Parliament. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the priorities of Ireland’s Presidency of the EU Council and the current political landscape of the island nation.

This event is exclusively reserved for members of the FMA.
Those current or former members of the FMA who wish to participate in this visit are kindly requested to liaise with the secretariat. Registration is open until 2 July.
