EU–India relations: Perspectives on Global Governance and Strategic Engagement
This special lecture series aims to complement the Institute’s existing academic programme on India–Europe relations, providing students with an opportunity to explore the evolving partnership between the European Union and India from different perspectives.
Key areas of mutual interest will be addressed, including trade and economic cooperation, climate action, digital governance, higher education and research, security, connectivity, and sustainable development. Through discussions with experts and practitioners, students will gain first-hand insights into the opportunities and challenges that are shaping EU–India relations, as well as their broader role in global affairs.
By incorporating international perspectives into the classroom, the lectures will foster critical thinking, global awareness, and intercultural understanding while encouraging meaningful dialogue about contemporary international relations and the future of EU–India strategic engagement.
