On 13 October 2026, former MEP and FMA member Pierrette Herzberger-Fofana will participate in the EP to Campus educational programme at the University of Tübingen in Germany. During her visit, Ms Herzberger-Fofana will deliver a lecture entitled “Regional Parliaments in Global Governance: Comparing Parliaments in Europe and Africa”.
This will provide an opportunity for students and academics to discuss the role of regional parliamentary institutions in addressing global issues and to compare parliamentary cooperation frameworks in Europe and Africa. The event will also encourage discussion on democratic governance, international cooperation and regional parliaments’ contribution to global policymaking.
