On 27 March 2025 the FMA, in collaboration with Fundação Getulio Vargas, FGV Direito Rio, Brazil, organised an online webinar at 6:00 PM (Brussels time).
The speaker for this event was former MEP Ms. Ana Gomes.
The webinar, titled “EU-Brazilian Relations: Past, Present, and Future,” will be part of FGV’s “International Week.” During the session Ms. Ana Gomes discussed how policy is crafted within the EU, with a particular focus on foreign policy and its impact on Latin America. A Q&A session followed the lecture and engaged the audience in further discussion.
The event was conducted online in English and welcomed approximately 30 undergraduate and graduate law students. It lasted 2 hours, offering an in-depth exploration of this significant topic.
