Once per year, members gather to sum up an intense year of work, to discuss the current activities of the Association and submit their proposals. This is indeed the perfect occasion to foster relations with former colleagues.

The 22st Annual General Assembly took place on 4 May 2023 in the European Parliament.

On 2 February 2023 at 12.45, an extra-ordinary General Assembly took place in room PHS 6B054 with the possibility to participate remotely (European Parliament, Brussels).

Having failed to reach the quorum of two thirds of our members (461) required for the revision of the FMA Statutes at the General Assembly held on 2 February 2023, we held a second, Extraordinary General Meeting on 2 February 2022 at 12.45 in room PHS 6B054 (European Parliament, Brussels). At this meeting, there was no quorum requirement but decisions had to be adopted by a 4/5 votes majority (for any amendment relating to the purpose(s) for which the Association was established) of the members present or represented. The Interactio remote system of the European Parliament allowed the remote participation of FMA members. If you could attend the meeting in person, you were able to vote by proxy.  An official notice of this event was sent to all FMA members on 15 December 2022 by email, and by post only if expressly required with successive reminders.

We are pleased to inform FMA Members that all that the proposed amendments to the FMA Statutes have been adopted with a unanimous vote of the Members present or represented at the meeting.

All relevant documents are still available on the FMA Intranet pages reserved to FMA members. Please contact the FMA Secretariat should you require any information at formermembers@europarl.europa.eu.
