On 15 September, the Former Members Association of the European Parliament will organise an EP to Campus event at the University of Santiago de Compostela, bringing the European Parliament closer to students through a online conference by former Member of the European Parliament Ibán García del Blanco.
The conference will focus on Artificial Intelligence, Digital Communications, and Political Communication. Drawing on his experience in the European Parliament and his involvement in the debates on the Artificial Intelligence Act, he will share insights into the EU’s approach to AI and discuss its impact on democracy, communication, and digital governance.
Through the EP to Campus programme, the Former Members Association of the European Parliament aims to strengthen links between academia and the European institutions by promoting dialogue, European citizenship, and civic engagement among students.
